DO YOU NEED A ‘NEW YOU’ THIS YEAR?

Tick the statements that apply to you and find out!

Last year:

-          you were a permanet resident of Detentionville

-          every Monday people were talking about the guy you pashed on Saturday night… and it was always a different dude

-          you wanted to be in the Rock Elsteddfod / school play / netball team, but didn’t try out because you were too shy

-          you hated free dress day, because you didn’t have anything ‘cool’ enough to wear

-          there was a rumour going around you were backstabbing your friends (kinda true)

-          you and your boyfriend had a public party break-up and half the year looked on

-          your friends booted you from the group, but let you back in after some major sucking up

-          parties scared you because you found it hard to talk to people you don’t really know and always said stupid things

okay, last year is the year you get yourself some confidence. You need to make the most of your opportunities and see the last of bitchy friends! Think you can? We know you can, now go nuts.

Mostly purple

Bad girls might get attention, but it’s not always a good look (who didn’t get sick of Marissa’s downward spiral on The O.C?) To get yourself back on the right side of the tracks, check out the “Trouble Maker” section below

Mostly blue

Ever heard of over sharing? There’s something to be said for discretion, especially when it comes to hooking up with guys. After you’ve locked lips with him, zip yours. Give the woman of mystery thing a crack… you may like it!

Mostly green

Lose the awkwardness this year, it’s time to get comfortable with yourself. The only person who cares if you wear or say something naff is you! So stop stressing and smile, bet someone smiles back!

your score?

Between 0-10

There’s no way you could be called vain. You are unassuming and modest. Unfortunately, what you feel as taking a relaxed approach to how you look can appear as untidiness to others. While there’s no need to undergo a total makeover you should try to make the best of yourself by taking a little time to improve your appearance.

Between 11-20

Your character is a mix of vanity and modesty. Day-to-day you pay little attention to your looks – as long as you are neat and tidy, you are happy. In contrast, when it comes to a special occasion you demant to look absolutely perfect. Try to introduce the latter attitude into your everyday life, and you’ll find soon looking your best becomes second nature.

Between 21-30

You’re so vain – you probably think this quiz is about you! While it’s perfectly normal to take pride in how you look, you have unfortunately gone to the extreme. Your dressing table is probably crammed with everything to keep you looking your best. The time has come for you to learn to be more relaxed about your appearance.

Lie:: Scap is bad for your skin

Scap is bad for your skin

We think it’s about time we all gave the humble bar of soap a break. In the days when your great granny used the same soap to clean everything from the floors to her face, that particular soap was made up of nasty animal fats and vegetable oils, by the way. These days though, soap formulations are much milder and more suitable for the skin. Some soaps even include moisturisers, which means after using it your skin doesn’t feel like it’s become one size too small for your face. The only problem with a bar of soap is that it’s a breeding ground for bacteria so opt for a pump dispenser when possible.
